Dialogue for Peaceful Change (DPC) is a global training programme developed by practitioners working in national and international conflict settings around the world.
The DPC methodology offers a practical toolkit and methodology for managing key aspects of both interpersonal and group conflict. Dialogue for Peaceful Change practice revolves around four distinct areas of learning:
|
FACILITATORA DPC Facilitator applies DPC as a practical approach to deal with conflict within day-to-day work and life.
During the training participants learn, develop and apply their understanding of the underpinning conceptual framework and build their fluency with the practical application of the DPC methodology. |
TRAINERThe DPC Trainer course provides accredited training for facilitators who wish to train others in DPC. Once accredited, DPC Trainers are able to join the team offering DPC Facilitator trainings. The admission requirement to join the course is based on real life experience in the use and application of the DPC tools to address conflict.
|
COACHFor those who wish to take their DPC practice even further, becoming an Associate DPC Coach and the an Accredited DPC Coach can be another step.
In a nutshell, DPC Trainers train DPC Facilitators and DPC Coaches train DPC Trainers. Progression to this role is based on evidence of experience through a DPC log book. |
